yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) is a lovely yellow bird that won't come to the yard to eat if it doesn't get oats for food. For that, nothing else is good for us here. It's a little weird.
Until I read your reply to 'dog' I was wondering what a 'yellow cricket' was. That's a great way to attract Yellowhammer, Anne.
