Olimme aamupäivällä pilkillä lähijärvellä. Jäällä oli hankala kävellä, kun jään päällä on paljon vettä ja sohjoa. Kovaa jäätä on n.20cm. Kala nappasi hyvin kärpäsentoukkaan kiinni. Saaliiksi tuli ahvenia ja särkiä.

A lot of foot prints, as long as you had a good catch is the main thing. Sounds intersting trying to walk there but i expect you have special snow shoes to wear.
There's nothing like the morning, especially in winter. And if we add successful fishing to this, it was worth it! Congratulations on your catch.

We have ice boots on. That is, warm high-waisted waterproof boots. Snowshoes don't really work for ice fishing.
