They are! Usually a few western jackdaws land to feed, and the rest of the large flock wait their turn to peck at the little birds' food. They hang from tallow balls and make quite a noise! I don't like them at all.
A very nice image. We don't have jackdaws but do have crows and they are rather greedy.
From behind the kitchen window, it's good to watch the birds.
I believe they are called crows down this way..You have a few there feeding.
