Amazing photos. I love going into the forest and looking for mushroom. I am not very good at identification though, I only know a few. BUT love taking photos of them. Here in Scotland we have so many forests and lots of mushrooms thrive here. :-D
VastaaPoistaIt's wonderful to walk in the forest.
PoistaBeautiful photos. I like the forest very much.
VastaaPoistaThank you very much.
PoistaHi Anne, wow, lovely impression of Autumn in the Forrest
VastaaPoistaRegards Maria
Thank you very much.
PoistaA wonderfully green and mossy forest is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. That is a really interesting question about whether the fungi that thrive on native spruce will grow as well on exotic spruce, it makes perfect sense that the different tree species might affect the ecosystem. It's too bad there weren't many mushrooms, but you're right, getting that outdoor exercise is a great reward in itself.
VastaaPoistaThank you very much for your comment.

PoistaAre all the conditions met ?
VastaaPoistaIn that forest grows (Picea mariana) the black spruce, a large paper mill planted that forest a long time ago. Apparently the mushrooms that normally grow with spruce don't like the area.
