    1. True. Hares freeze to find food under the snow and ice. However, they also eat a lot of trees and bushes.

    1. There are rabbits in the garden now. They eat the plants that are not protected. Above -20°C many days. Now -10°C

    1. Thanks. The European hare (Lepus europaeus) weighs 2.5–7 kilograms. Its body is 55–68 centimeters long and its tail is 8–12.5 centimeters long.

    1. Hi! The translator mistranslates, the title has the real pest.

  5. In my country, it's hard to see the Lepus europaeus. It was exterminated by hunters. They kill everything they see. They only don't kill older boars because the meat is unfit for consumption. Older boars breed and destroy everything in their path.

Where I live, it's frost, wind, and snow.

    1. It's winter there too! It's been very cold here for a long time now. We have wild boars near us. Luckily they're not really close. We have rabbits wreaking havoc in the woodshed. Apparently it's easier to find food in the flowerbeds than in the forest.
